‘Les pixels d’Ubuntu/Hunhu ‘ explorent les expériences des artistes Zimbabwéens qui ont représenté le pays à Venise lors de la Biennale. Le thème de leur exposition était « Ubuntu/Hunhu » une philosophie dictée par une conception africaine de l’humanité. La démarche aborde les menacent qui pèsent sur « Ubuntu » de fait de l’agressivité des cultures étrangères, Le film donne une vue panoramique de l’environnement économique et sociopolitique Zimbabwéen. L’oeuvre expose commentaires, influences et questions d’identité que les artistes confrontent dans leur recherche pour maintenir et entretenir une identité africaine et tout en se libérant des stéréotypes.

Pixels Of Ubuntu/Hunhu’ explores the experiences of Zimbabwean artists who represented the country at the recently held Venice Biennale whose exhibition was themed around Ubuntu/Hunhu a uniquely African philosophy of humanity and manner and how this Ubuntu is ‘pixilating’ because of foreign cultures that threatens its organic existence. The film gives a panoramic view of Zimbabwean economic and socio-political environment, comments on the influences and identity issues that the artist confront in their quest to maintain an African identity and also break free from falling into stereotypes.
