DESCRIPTION:\n\nSynopsis (FR) : Le dicton « les femmes sont l’épine dorsale de la société » est certainement vrai pour la plus ancienne république d’Afrique. C’est un endroit où les femmes sont une force impressionnante derrière le changement et un moteur majeur du développement, de l’éducation et d’une paix durable. Le 20e anniversaire de la fin de la deuxième guerre civile au Libéria approche à grands pas, et c’est en grande partie grâce aux militantes que la paix a été maintenue. Dans le cadre du projet actuel de Rediscover Liberia « Women of Liberia », nous avons invité des femmes libériennes inspirantes à parler de leur chemin vers le succès. Tout en réfléchissant à leur avenir et à leur héritage, on leur a demandé de partager un message d’espoir aux filles et aux femmes, voici ce qu’elles avaient à dire…\n\n\nSynopsis (EN):  (WOMEN OF LIBERIA, A MESSAGE OF HOPE) The saying “women are the backbone of society” certainly holds true for Africa’s oldest republic. It is a place where women are an impressive force behind change and a major driver of development, education, and long lasting peace. The 20th anniversary to the end of the second civil war in Liberia is around the corner, and it is grossly thanks to female activists that peace has been sustained. As part of Rediscover Liberia’s current project “Women of Liberia”, we invited inspirational Liberian women to talk about their road to success.
