De nationalité Burkinabé. Ma particularité : je suis un scarifié, comme tous les membres de ma famille, mais l’un des derniers puisque cette tradition s’est dorénavant éteinte. Ces cicatrices sur mon visage sont comme une marque d’identité de l’ethnie à laquelle j’appartiens, l’ethnie Bwaba. Mais je ne sais rien de plus et cette ignorance me constitue en même temps qu’elle m’entrave. Les scarifiés est l’histoire d’une nécessité, celle de revenir sur les lieux de mon enfance afin de comprendre le sens de ces traces sur ma peau. C’est une quête qui chemine depuis le souvenir de la douleur jusqu’à l’apaisement d’une identité restituée.\n \nSynopsis (EN): My name is Wabinlé Nabié. Burkinabé. My particularity: I am a scarified person, one of the last since this tradition has now died out. These scars on my face are like a mark of identity of the ethnic group to which I belong, the Bwaba ethnic group, but I know nothing more and this ignorance shapes me at the same time as it hinders me. Les scarifiés is the story of a necessity, returning to the places of my childhood in order to understand the meaning of these marks on my skin. \n
