DESCRIPTION:Demba est un africain qui a fui son pays, au moment où le régime s’est verrouillé. Après avoir traversé la Méditerranée, il est arrivé à Paris où il attend une réponse à sa demande de séjour. Un soir, il est contrôlé par Lucien Charles-Henry, un policier antillais. Tout de suite le policier s’adresse au migrant sur un ton où perce une notion de rapport « dominant-dominé ». Seulement – dans son pays – Demba est professeur d’Histoire et de Géographie tandis que Lucien a dû quitter l’école très tôt pour aider sa mère, femme de ménage. Dès lors les rapports entre les deux hommes s’inversent. Le dominant devient le dominé surtout quand Demba aborde la question de l’esclavage. Cela met Lucien hors de lui. Leur affrontement semble insoluble. Mais c’est sans compter la présence de Bienvenue, une komian baoulé qui n’hésite pas à officier sur le Quai de l’Oise, en plein Paris. Alors Lucien et Demba parviendront-ils à se comprendre au bout de la nuit ?\nDemba is an African who fled his country when the regime locked up. Their confrontation seems insoluble. But it is without counting the presence of Welcome, a Baule komian who does not hesitate to officiate on the Quai of the Oise, in full Paris.
