Il travaille comme dockers de poissons à la plage et vit en colocation dans une maison où il donne des cours particuliers à Freddy un jeune garçon dont il est très proche. Babacar major de sa promotion d'instituteurs à pourtant du mal à exercer son métier d'enseignant du fait du préjugé de l'Albinos dont il est victime. Loin de baisser les bras, Babacar est à la quête de ce travail dans les écoles privées et Jeanne son amour du collège l'aide à supporter les difficultés du quotidien malgré les réticences de sa mère. Témérité, abnégation sont toutefois des qualités dont Babacar usera durant tout son parcours pour essayer d'exercer son métier d'enseignant. Les préjugés, les agressions physiques et les embûches ne cesseront pas pour Babacar le poussant même à tenter l'émigration clandestine Babacar, Albinos is about 25 years old.
