Les trois femmes protagonistes du peuple Lébou, qui tiennent un rôle exemplaire dans leur culture entre tradition et modernité, sont taillées dans le contexte de leur société. Ils nous enseignent que leur travail est indissociable de leur héritage spirituel et que le changement brutal des micro-structures sociales avérées menace leur culture vivante et favorise la migration. The film is a synthesis of a long journey that started in 2010 in four traditional fishing communities in Senegal with socio-cultural, visually processed field researches on the people of the sea in times of transition and uncertainty. The three women protagonists of the people Lébou, who hold an exemplary role in their culture between tradition and modernity, are carved out of the context of their society. They teach us that their work is an inseparable part of their spiritual heritage and that the abrupt change in proven social micro-structures threatens their living culture and promotes migration.
