Synopsis (FR) : Le film est une enqu\u00eate sur l’image de la femme noire dans les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s occidentales, de la J\u00e9zabel hypersexuelle \u00e0 l’aimable infirmi\u00e8re en passant par la \u00ab\u00a0bitch \u00bb insolente. Le film s’efforce de briser \u00ab le mythe \u00bb\u00a0en pr\u00e9sentant un groupe diversifi\u00e9 de femmes et une richesse de r\u00e9alit\u00e9s rarement vues \u00e0 l’\u00e9cran, le tout soutenu par des images d’archives captivantes des ann\u00e9es 1800 \u00e0 nos jours.<\/p>\n

Synopsis (EN): The film takes a look at the portrayal of the Black woman in Western society, from the hypersexual Jezebel to the friendly nurse, and the insolent \u201cbitch\u201d. The film strives to break \u201cthe myth\u201d by showcasing a diverse case of women and a wealth of realities rarely seen on screen, all supported by captivating archival footage from the 1800\u2019s to the present day.<\/p>\n
