De sa propre histoire \u00e9merge ainsi un r\u00e9cit plus large de la colonisation, de l\u2019assimilation, de l\u2019int\u00e9gration et des avantages sociaux en lien avec l\u2019origine ethnoraciale ainsi que leurs r\u00e9percussions encore aujourd\u2019hui.<\/p>\n<p><em>A personal quest filmed over 20 years, the film illustrates the racial issues linked to the notion of white privilege that have punctuated the director\u2019s life in three French-speaking societies: Guadeloupe, France and Quebec.
