Hector, un Cubano-Canadien de 14 ans, passe son dernier week-end \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al avant que sa m\u00e8re, Iulia, et son mari, Bruno, d\u00e9m\u00e9nagent en Californie pour ouvrir un glacier sur la plage. Hector est profond\u00e9ment attach\u00e9 \u00e0 la coop\u00e9rative d’habitation o\u00f9 il a grandi et il est anxieux \u00e0 l’id\u00e9e de quitter son univers familier. Avant leur d\u00e9part, il doit trouver le courage de d\u00e9clarer son amour \u00e0 Noa, une fille de son \u00e2ge qui vit \u00e9galement dans la coop\u00e9rative. Ce voyage important co\u00efncide avec un premier baiser et le passage de l’enfance \u00e0 l’adolescence. Le film est consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 la m\u00e9moire de Pierre Jutras (1945-2023), cin\u00e9aste et sc\u00e9nariste, ancien directeur de la Cin\u00e9math\u00e8que qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hector, a 14-year-old Cuban-Canadian, spends his last weekend in Montreal before his mother, Iulia, and her husband, Bruno, move to California to open an ice cream shop on the beach. Hector is deeply attached to the housing cooperative where he grew up and is anxious about leaving his familiar surroundings. Before they leave, he must find the courage to declare his love to Noa, a girl his age who also lives in the co-op. This important journey coincides with a first kiss and the transition from childhood to adolescence. The film is dedicated to the memory of Pierre Jutras (1945-2023), filmmaker and screenwriter, former director of the Cin\u00e9math\u00e8que qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
