Ce film raconte la vie et l’\u0153uvre d’Achille Ren\u00e9-Boisneuf, fils d’un esclave affranchi \u00e0 la fin du XIXe si\u00e8cle en Guadeloupe, qui devint avocat, journaliste, maire de Pointe-\u00e0-Pitre, pr\u00e9sident du Conseil g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, puis d\u00e9put\u00e9 \u00e0 l’Assembl\u00e9e nationale.<\/span><\/p>\n

This film tells the story of the life and work of Achille Ren\u00e9-Boisneuf, the son of a slave who was freed in Guadeloupe in the late 19th century, who went on to become a lawyer, a journalist, mayor of Pointe-\u00e0-Pitre, president of the General Council, and subsequently a member of the National Assembly.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
