Arrach\u00e9 jeune \u00e0 Madagascar, Darcy grandit en Belgique, loin d\u2019une grande diaspora malgache. Avec le temps, une partie de sa culture s\u2019efface presque malgr\u00e9 lui. Des ann\u00e9es plus tard, il revient cam\u00e9ra en main sur la terre de son enfance. \u00c0 travers sa famille, les traditions, la musique et les souvenirs, il interroge ce qui le relie encore \u00e0 son pays d\u2019origine. Un film intime sur l\u2019identit\u00e9, la m\u00e9moire et le besoin de retrouver ses racines.<\/span><\/p>\n

Torn from Madagascar at a young age, Darcy grew up in Belgium, far from the larger Malagasy diaspora. Over time, part of his culture began to fade, almost against his will. Years later, he returns to the land of his childhood, camera in hand. Through his family, traditions, music, and memories, he explores what still connects him to his country of origin. An intimate film about identity, memory, and the need to rediscover one\u2019s roots.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
