It is located above the largest peatland ever registered, sequestrating more than thirty billion tons of carbon.  If the balance of this ecosystem is disturbed, a phenomenal quantity of greenhouse gases could be released into the atmosphere. This would result in a disaster expressed by a significant increase of global warming.  The documentary consults scientists, actors on the ground, pioneers of African ecology who understood the stakes and the emergency to protect the ecosystem of the forest, the second and last lung of the world after Amazonia.
