Bijou est une jeune femme divorcée de la diaspora africaine. Après 5 ans dans un mariage abusif, Bijou réussit par partir et recommencer une nouvelle vie, grâce à sa meilleure amie Nina, une femme forte et indépendante. Bijou est maintenant ‘libre’ de vivre comme elle l’entend, mais quand on aime un homme dont l’ex a pour but de le reconquérir, qu’on a une mère envahissante et qu’on a de nouvelles amies qui vivent aussi leurs propres drames, sa nouvelle vie n’est pas de tout repos.

Bijou is a young divorced woman from African descent. After 5 years in an abusive marriage, she succeeds to leave and start all over again and this with the help of her best friend, Nina, a strong and independent woman. Bijou is now free to live her life as she wants to but falling in love with a man, whose ex-wife wants him back, having a very inquisitive mother and dealing with her friends’ drama too won’t give her any rest.
