Dans un village amazigh, de jeunes musiciens rêvent de succès tandis que les femmes travaillent la terre en chantant et dans la bonne humeur. Cependant, l’arrivée d’un nouvel imam conservateur pousse le village à renoncer à sa culture amazighe. Il est interdit aux femmes de chanter, les jeunes doivent cesser de faire de la musique et les hommes doivent abandonner leur métier de marionnettistes, de fabricants de masques ou toute autre activité. Mais la détermination des jeunes et la fierté des femmes mèneront le village à la rébellion.

In an Amazigh village, young musicians dream of success while the women work the land, singing and in good spirits. However, the arrival of a conservative new Imam pushes the village to renounce its Amazigh culture. Women are forbidden to sing, the youth must stop making music, and the men must abandon their work as puppeteers, mask makers, or other activities. Yet, the determination of the young and the pride of the women will lead the village to rebellion.
