Sauver Mbango est basé sur un garçon (John) qui a grandi comme le gagne-pain d’une famille très dysfonctionnelle. Le chaos et les responsabilités l’ont empêché de réaliser ses ambitions et ses rêves, mais quand il est tombé amoureux d’une fille (Mbango) dont la situation était encore plus compliquée que la sienne, son monde a été radicalement bouleversé. Il s’est retrouvé coincé entre prendre soin de sa famille dysfonctionnelle ou sauver la femme qu’il aimait. Constamment tourmenté par son père incompréhensible et alcoolique et son frère aîné irresponsable, il est confronté à la décision drastique de faire face à son avenir.

Saving Mbango is based on a boy (John) who grew up as the bread winner of a very dysfunctional family. The chaos and responsibilities hindered him from achieving his ambitions and dreams but when he fell inlove with a girl (Mbango) whose predicaments where even more complicated than his, his world turned upside down drastically. He found himself stuck between taking care of his dysfunctional family or saving the woman he loved. Constantly tormented by his uncomprehensive and alcoholic father and his irresponsible elder brother, he is faced with the drastic decision to face his future.
