Avoir 20 ans en 2023 restera à jamais la Magie du Festival International du Film PanAfricain de Cannes.
Cette manière de se déployer chaque année depuis 2004 relève de cette exception culturelle française. Celle qui a servi de socle aux années cultures (1980/1990). Ce clin d’oeil à la naissance de ce bel évènement nous ramène à la fois à l’Espace Miramar (Cannes) et au Cinéma le Studio à Grasse. Cette salle gérée en 2004 par Madame Bernadette LEVREAU qui avait accepté d’accueillir le Festival du Film PanAfricain. Un formidable moment de lancement qui avait donné le ton dès le départ : Musique et Cinéma se conjuguaient ensemble. Lors de la création du FIFP, Mesdames Isabelle ABELLO, Roselyne VERMEULEN, Virginie PRUNIER, Katie ERTEL et bien d’autres joueront un rôle majeur dans la coordination et production dudit Festival…. Un événement qui se voyait azuréen et avait pour objectif de couvrir tout le territoire des Alpes Maritimes. Par la suite, la MJC Picaud (Studio 13) et Ranguin (Le Raimu) sont devenus partenaires du FIFP

Turning 20 in 2023 will forever be the magic of the Festival International du Film PanAfricain de Cannes.
The way it has unfolded every year since 2004 is part of the French cultural exception. The one that served as the foundation for the cultural years (1980/1990). This nod to the birth of this fine event takes us back to both the Espace Miramar (Cannes) and the Cinéma le Studio in Grasse. This venue, managed in 2004 by Madame Bernadette LEVREAU, agreed to host the Pan-African Film Festival. It was a fantastic launch event that set the tone right from the start: music and cinema combined. During the creation of the FIFP, Isabelle ABELLO, Roselyne VERMEULEN, Virginie PRUNIER, Katie ERTEL and many others played a major role in the coordination and production of the Festival…. The event was intended to cover the whole of the Alpes Maritimes region. Subsequently, the MJC Picaud (Studio 13) and Ranguin (Le Raimu) became partners of the FIFP.
